JOIN THE PILOT PROGRAM

The need for skilled Space employees has never been greater. Studies show that space manufacturing is one of the highest-value manufacturing careers; however, a Manufacturing Institute and Deloitte report found that 2.4 million jobs may be left open due to a lack of trained workers. The Foundation for the Future is working to solve this issue through a dedicated Workforce for the Future initiative. This new national resource connects workers with vetted training opportunities for space-focused workforce certifications.

A concerted effort to solve the skills gap is essential to the United State’s success in space. Developing a diverse workforce to manage, design, and build the future with all the technological advantages that space provides is the first step.

Join us in developing the first nationally recognized space career certification program. We are currently seeking students, educators, and employers to help drive this initiative toward success.

GOOD JOBS CHALLENGE

Over the next quarter we are building a nation-wide cooperative to apply for the Economic Development Agency’s Good Jobs Challenge $25M grant. So far we are working with 13 states, 15 schools and 11 employers from across the country, however this network is heavily weighted to Career and Technical Education programs and lacks a K-12 component. Does this sound like someone you know? Apply to get involved with the Workforce For the Future Development program.
